Baristini is a personal project that started with a set of coffee themed illustrations that were not required by a previous client.

 

Around this time, my daughter was often playing “coffee-shop” with cups and jugs and whatever she could find, at this point I decided to repurpose the illustrations and optimize the artwork to be laser cut and laser etched to create a selection of plywood toys.

 

Subsequently I created a ‘Baristini’ identity for the wooden products.

 

I now give the toys as gifts for young friends and family, or give them to clients and coffee enthusiasts.
