In late May 2020 following the initial impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Bars and Cafes in Germany began re-opening with specific rules in place to prevent further viral infection.

 

These rules prevent the use of traditional table Menus. This presented me with a unique challenge to create a summer drinks menu. My client required a menu that was affixed to the tables and can be cleaned and disinfected effectively.

 

Papp Bar & Cafe has a large outside space with customers sitting often on opposite sides of a table.

 

My design solution was six unique ‘Menu Stickers’, inspired by the mirrored nature of playing cards that feature diametric text and artwork that is viewable from both sides of the table.
